Reverse Osmosis Systems let you completely clear the water of any sediment, chlorine, pollutants, bacteria and other contaminant's. Water quality around the country varies by location and season. If your water is coming out of the tap at higher than 200 ppm, you should have an R.O. System. These R.O. systems will put out water that normally measures at 10 ppm or less. Water quality varies from season to season so using an R.O. system will help you start with the same water all year around. That allows you to not have to continuously adjust your nutrients to account for the changes in water quality. This helps you become more consistent in your growing. They run completely on your water line pressure, using no electricity. They are available in two different sizes, 100 or 200 gallons per day (at a line pressure of 60 p.s.i.). All systems include a 3⁄4” garden hose adapter to connect to your water supply. A quick-connect snap coupler for attaching to most sinks is available below. Replacement Filters are also available. You should change your R.O. filter about once a year and your sediment and carbon filters at least every 6 months depending on the amount of particulate in your water.
